Let's be honest, a two-day aligner course isn't enough. This revolutionary new aligner program will give you the know-how to handle every situation and is paired with mentoring support to guide you to success on all of your cases. In this twelve-day mini series, you will gain confidence as you develop a strong foundation in orthodontic principles, case selection, and setup design.
You will learn how to properly diagnose and manage situations to have complete control within the realities of your clinic. Instead of relying on the lab technician to know what is best for your patient, you will gain the skills to evaluate and modify your treatment plan, including how to prevent bites from opening, when and how much IPR should be used, and when revisions are needed. You will become familiar with a large variety of malocclusions and treatment types, including Class I, II, and III, open bite, closed bite, crossbite, deep bite, extraction, non-extraction, removable-fixed hybrid appliances, and pre-restorative.
This series is NOT a short, basic aligner course. This educational program is for dentists wanting to treat aligner patients with the same quality results as what’s expected in traditional orthodontics. Click the seminar image below to learn more about the topics.
For success using aligners, you should have a solid orthodontic foundation. Learn core orthodontic principles and limitations so that you are successful on every case.
Regardless of your background, you will understand how to select good initial cases, how to start them, and how to get extensive analysis and treatment planning guidance from an experienced consultant. To avoid future complications and surprises, you will learn how to set up your orthodontic cases and expectations properly. You will learn from instructional cases and practice diagnosing and working with them as if they are your own patients.
In this seminar, you will understand more of the concepts behind tooth movement, how to submit your prescription properly to the lab, and how to treat more case types.
Clear aligners can be effective beyond simple Class I crowded and retreat cases! Learn how to treat Class II cases with non-extraction, how to use engagers efficiently, and how to communicate with the lab technician for an effective set up. We will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of aligner therapy and how the application of brackets is an option to overcome those weaknesses. Yes, brackets too. Learn more about our philosophy.
A hands-on session with typodonts will give you the experience and confidence you need to properly use aligners, engagers, and brackets.
In this seminar, we will continue to expand the types of cases that you can treat successfully and predictably, and teach you about extraction options. This course will allow you to offer your services to more of your patients.
We will also focus on the revision process, and what to look for in all of your cases to ensure they are progressing properly, as well as how to make adjustments as necessary.
In the final seminar of the series, we will teach you how to achieve an excellent finish on all your cases, as well as the retention process to ensure your patients maintain a beautiful smile over the long term.
We will continue to expand your skills to take on more types of cases, giving you the tools you need to be successful with Class III and deep bite cases. You’ll now be able to manage and treat a large variety of cases with excellent control.
